Chancey was a bride looking to combine traditional taste with a flair for the artistic. Her mother (Jill) is a fantastic artist and has passed a love of art to her daughter. Picking the printed piece was basically a decision of script font vs. handwritten calligraphy. They chose to go with a script font that looked more handwritten and swirly engraved on Crane ivory cardstock – traditional black ink and clean layout. Where the real fun came in was in an awesome vision by Jill to incorporate some art and wedding colors. She shared the vision and we worked to make it a reality in production. An original piece was painted in watercolor and we scanned it and digitized it. Then it was printed onto translucent paper and became the substitute for a traditional tissue. It was so fun to see this vision become a reality.
